We undertake adaptation work for many Housing Associations and Local Authorities and have been a leading provider of disabled adaptations in the area for over 20 years. We currently carry out in excess of 250 adaptations to clients homes every year.

JG&JR Langridge specialise in the provision of bathrooms for the elderly and disabled, offering a complete service from start to finish including design, supply and installation.

We offer a range of bathroom options including bathrooms, walk-in showers, wet rooms and bathroom accessories. We will take care of the whole adaptation process and employ the highest standards throughout, ensuring minimal disruption to a client and their home.

Our kitchen adaptations combine modern design and efficiency with accessibility, offering both style and function. Combining our years of experience together with guidance from Occupational Therapists, our professionals provide a kitchen completely tailored to the needs and requirements of the individual.

External Access

Level Access is important to enable access for the less able and wheelchair users, both to the home and in public spaces. The installation of a level access door is a straight forward and cost effective way of providing safe and easy access to a building.

Access Ramps are an alternative to entrance steps to assist the elderly and disabled when entering and within buildings. JG&JR Langridge offer a range of affordable, bespoke solutions from small threshold access to large access ramps.

Accessible Extensions & Conversions

We offer bespoke living extensions which are designed to meet specific requirements, incorporating as many rooms or facilities as is required, from an additional living room to accessible bedrooms and bathrooms.

We create extensions to meet a client’s exact requirements, from the brick or render type to how many plug sockets are required. Additionally, we can offer a vast range of finishing options to compliment an existing property.
